Gong Meditation and Sound Immersion with Triad Percussionist Bill Smith

Triad percussionist Bill Smith takes listeners on amazing sonic journeys with a unique collection of instruments. Years of experimentations and improvisations with gongs, singing bowls and other metal percussion led to the recording of Bill's first solo CD in 2011. It's entitled "Music for Gongs, Bells and Singing Bowls”. David Ford spoke with Bill in Studio A sitting on the floor in front of dozens of hanging percussion instruments from around the world.

On Friday, March 14, at 7:30 PM, Bill will be offering a Gong Meditation/Sound Immersion at Healing From Inside Out Wellness Center in Advance. Once there you can immerse yourself in the therapeutic sound waves of gongs and singing bowls.  Tickets are 12 bucks.
