The American Idol Audition Tour Bus rolled into the Dixie Classic Fairgrounds in Winston-Salem Monday.
The hit competition series American Idol is entering season thirteen.
Hundreds of Idol hopefuls waited in long lines for their chance to wow the show’s producers. Winston-Salem is the final stop of a five city tour through the South.
Hope Wilson, a producer with American Idol, says the show has had big success in North Carolina. Show producers helped discover stars like Clay Aiken, Fantasia Barrino, Chris Daughtry, Kellie Pickler and Scotty McCreery.
American Idol producers say footage from the Winston-Salem bus stop will air sometime between January and March.
