Stained Glass Playhouse Presents "Private Lives"

The Noel Coward classic Private Lives turns 83 this year, but it's just as funny, witty, entertaining and relevant today as it was back in 1930. Much of that is thanks to Coward's amazing writing and the onstage chemistry in a perpetually stormy relationship between Amanda and Elyot. The Stained Glass Playhouse production of Private Lives directed by Mike Burke pairs actors Rene Walek and Michael Ackerman in these challenging roles, and the show will run from Friday, May 3 through the 19th with evening performances at 8 and Sunday matinees at 3:00pm. Following Elyot and Amanda's volatile three-year-long marriage, and five years of divorce, playwright Noel Coward brings them back together under the most unusual of circumstances. They, along with their new and younger spouses discover that they are sharing a hotel terrace while on their respective honeymoons.
