NC A&T E. Gwynn Dancers Perform "Diggin' Our Roots: From South Africa to South America"

The E. Gwynn Dancers of NC A &T State University are ready to transport you to a different place and time with their upcoming production Diggin' Our Roots: From South Africa to South America. 

The exciting dance company is made up of incredibly skilled young performers who dance with authority and strength, enriching audiences as they entertain. Their movements will be driven by African drums like the djembe, with vibrant costumes and song in a variety of different languages and dialects. Diggin' Our Roots is Saturday night, April 6 at 7:30 in Harrison Auditorium on the A&T campus. Professor of Dance and Department of Visual and Performing Arts Chair Dr. Eleanor Gwynn and her dancers recently visited Studio A to share the sounds and movements of the upcoming performance. She was joined by Adjunct Professor and Director of Marketing and Publicity Ms. Donna Baldwin-Bradby, student dancers Genet Cherry, De Raymes Harris, Kierra Eaddy, Ra'Eisha Vinson and percussionist Barry Campbell.
