In his new book, Keep It Fake: Inventing an Authentic Life, Eric Wilson (Thomas H. Prichard professor of English at Wake Forest University) uses his personal narrative to weave in and out of discussions that include everything from film theory, philosophical history, ethics, food, pop-culture and more. And these discussions just as easily lead Wilson back to his own narrative.

The book is a synthesis of many ideas, and Eric Wilson stopped by WFDD to share a few of those. In today's interview, he reads from chapters 2 and 3 of his new book, and Bethany began by asking him how this book differs from his others.

Wilson will be reading at Scuppernong Books in Greensboro on Wednesday, July 15th at 7pm.
