Contenders in the 2016 presidential race are turning their attention to North Carolina, which is once again expected to be a swing state.
U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders is coming to the Triad, with a rally planned for Sunday at the Greensboro Coliseum.
Sanders, an Independent from Vermont, is challenging front-runner Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination. Since he first announced his run, he's been drawing big crowds and has been gaining on Clinton in national polls.
Meanwhile, former Florida Governor Jeb Bush is planning a visit to North Carolina, as well. On Wednesday, Bush will appear at Morris & Associates in Garner, just outside of Raleigh.
In a speech last week, Bush said he would roll out his tax proposals at the Garner appearance as part of a series of policy speeches.
Bush is trailing GOP front-runner Donald Trump in the latest national polling.
