UNCG Presents Philip Glass Opera "Galileo Galelei"

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is having a year long 450th birthday celebration in honor of The Bard and the Father of Modern Science.

This celebration of William Shakespeare and Galileo Galilei is called “Globe and Cosmos.” The next event in the series is UNCG Opera Theatre's production of the Philip Glass opera Galileo Galilei. It opens on April 16t^h and runs through April 19^th. Philip Glass himself will be performing in concert at UNCG  with violinist Timothy Fain at Aycock Auditorium on April 14^th.
