The zHome demonstration project was designed to be the first net-zero-energy townhome complex in the country.
Now, the results are in: the complex of ten highly efficient townhouses in Issaquah, Washington is meeting expectations, generating more electricity than needed and saving money for homeowners. Tom Banse of Here & Now contributor Northwest News Network reports.
