Supreme Court Nominee Faces A Difficult Road

Senate Republicans have said they will refuse to consider any Supreme Court nomination by President Obama, since it is an election year. As President Obama nominates federal appeals court judge Merrick Garland to replace the late Justice Antonin Scalia, NPR’s White House correspondent Scott Horsley talks with Here & Now’s Robin Young about what happens now.
