Weather-related school closings, delays and remote learning

Due to the potential for continued icy road conditions in central North Carolina following last week's snowstorm, there are school closures, delays and remote learning days across the WFDD listening area for Tuesday, Jan. 14.

• Schools and districts closed on Tuesday, Jan. 14 include: Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, The Arts Based School, Davidson County Schools, Elkin City Schools, Lexington City Schools, Mount Airy City Schools and Yadkin County Schools
• Schools and districts with a remote learning day on Tuesday, Jan. 14 include: Guilford County Schools, Rockingham County Schools, Surry County Schools and Wilkes County Schools
• Delayed start times on Tuesday, Jan. 14 include: Randolph County Schools and Thomasville City Schools
