One term keeps taking center stage in the coverage of campus protests around the country – it's the phrase “safe spaces.” You might associate the phrase with elementary school rules – things like “no hands on your neighbor.” But as the country deals with a more racially charged climate, the concept of safe space gets a lot more complicated.
