About 175 different species of mosquitoes live in the United States. In North Texas for example, some carry diseases like West Nile, others could become carriers of the Zika virus, but, others are harmless.

Lauren Silverman from Here & Now contributor Texas Standard caught up with a mosquito hunter who works with the city of Denton, Texas, to find out the differences between the bugs, and what makes the mosquito that carries Zika stand out.
