WS/FCS requests $27 million to complete Brunson Elementary School replacement project

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools is requesting an additional $27 million from the school capital project’s budget in order to fund the construction of a new Brunson Elementary. County commissioners will vote on the matter on Thursday.

With an increase in construction costs, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education voted to postpone three 2016 school bond projects Tuesday night.
