Buzz Aldrin

The retired astronaut, who was the second person to walk on the moon, announced his marriage to Anca Faur.

The capsule called Columbia hasn't left the Smithsonian's National Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C., since 1976. It's heading out on tour to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

The second man to walk on the moon fell ill during a trip to the South Pole and was flown to New Zealand. Aldrin is 86 years old.

The crew of Apollo 11 drew a calendar on the wall of their command module, as well as a tribute to the spacecraft, and jotted down numbers and other information from mission control communications.
