Fiona the hippo's little brother has a name after a worldwide contest

The Cincinnati Zoo named the calf Fritz after receiving over 90,000 name suggestions from every U.S. state and more than 60 countries. He's the sister to a famous hippo who was born prematurely.

The baby calf and mother Bibi are healthy, and the zoo says they are "inseparable."

Born six weeks early, the tiny one-month-old hippo has had a rather tough time. But in a video released by the Cincinnati Zoo, Fiona shows off her resilience — and her moves in the pool.

Fiona, a premature hippo calf born six weeks early, has been gaining strength and weight since her birth on Jan. 24. Now she has taken her first steps.

The Cincinnati Zoo asked the public to send "positive vibes" to Fiona, who was born six weeks early and has required around-the-clock intensive care.
