Two men, including the shooter, were each sentenced to 30 years in prison for the Hall of Famer's 2019 ambush in Santo Domingo. Eight others received prison sentences of between 5 and 20 years.

Former Boston Red Sox's slugger David Ortiz was voted into the Hall of Fame on Tuesday, in his first appearance on the ballot.
