Lawsuit Claims GM Used Defeat Devices On Duramax Diesel Trucks And SUVs

The class-action lawsuit accuses General Motors of using "at least three separate 'defeat devices' to increase engine power and efficiency" in its Duramax diesel engines.

In the wake of Volkswagen's emissions-testing cheating scandal, the company's U.S. sales for November dropped by nearly 25 percent from this time a year ago.
