After a few inches of snow fell across the Piedmont, the city of Greensboro is providing some updates on its services and how the winter weather is impacting them.

The agency will also conduct voter registration at the J. Douglas Galyon depot downtown along with other locations as part of the initiative.

In its first year, the Hopper provided more than 52,000 rides.

Greensboro's first crosstown bus route will connect east and west Greensboro communities and will be 'a game changer' for both the Greensboro Transit Agency and the city.

Greensboro city leaders have introduced several proposals for a long-range public transit plan called GoBORO. The goal is to make Greensboro a car-optional city by 2045.

The city of Greensboro's free, downtown Hopper trolleys are now in service.

Visitors and residents will soon be able to hop on a trolley to get around downtown Greensboro. 

Bus service in Greensboro has been halted following a walkout by drivers and support staff. The action came after an unidentified bus operator tested positive for COVID-19.
