Hoda Muthana

Hoda Muthana, a 25-year-old who was a student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham when she traveled to Syria, is currently imprisoned at a detention camp in northern Syria with her young son.

A judge ruled there isn't sufficient evidence proving Hoda Muthana and her toddler face imminent harm in Syria. It's a setback for the ISIS bride who hoped to fight her citizenship claim from the U.S.
