The Boston Globe and Boston University Center for Antiracist Research are launching The Emancipator, a news platform named after a 19th century abolitionist newspaper and dedicated to racial justice.
His new book How To Be Antiracist is a manual to follow; the author writes that "being an antiracist requires persistent self-awareness, constant self-criticism, and regular self-examination."
Six writers emerged with the literary prize: Whitehead in fiction; Ibram X. Kendi in nonfiction; Daniel Borzutzky in poetry; and Lewis, Andrew Aydin and Nate Powell in young people's literature.
