A city-supported market in the midst of what's considered a Winston-Salem food desert is set to reopen for the season Friday.

A revived urban farmers market in Winston-Salem is back for a second season. 

Winston-Salem's Liberty Street Market opened more than five years ago with big plans to provide food for area residents. But there's been difficulties reaching that goal.
