Former Illinois Congressman Aaron Schock was indicted on 24 counts including wire fraud, theft of government funds and making false statements. He says he looks forward to "all the facts coming out."

Schock faces 24 counts including wire fraud and theft of public funds. The indictment alleges he cost the federal government, his campaign and others more than $100,000.

Even in his final floor speech, Rep. Aaron Schock seemed to leave the door open for a future, comparing himself to former President Abraham Lincoln.

The 33-year-old Republican had come under heavy scrutiny. In a statement, he said that "the constant questions over the last six weeks have proven a great distraction."
