Forsyth County families are encouraged to begin Pre-K registration
Forsyth County parents are being encouraged to begin registering their eligible children for Pre-K, but options for early education in the area are dwindling.
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners approved $3.7 million in American Rescue Plan Act funds last week to support 30 Pre-K classrooms for two years.
An expanded initiative will provide free books for young children across North Carolina.
