In Greensboro, a historically African American neighborhood makes the National Register of Historic Places
Preservation efforts for the South Benbow Road Historic District in Greensboro began a decade ago to recognize the 1950s-era African-American architects who lived and worked there. The district includes 450 contributing structures.
Greensboro to host public hearing for historic property nominations
Twelve districts and 42 properties in Greensboro are currently on the National Register of Historic Places.
