Judge Dismisses Murder Charges Over Boy's Death On Kansas Waterslide

Caleb Schwab, 10, was decapitated in 2016, when the raft he was riding down the Verruckt waterslide went airborne and hit a metal pole. The slide was the tallest in the world when it opened in 2014.

A Wyandotte County, Kan., court judge has granted permission for the Verruckt waterslide to be torn down. Park officials said it would be demolished shortly after Labor Day.

Nearly two years after the gruesome death of a 10-year-old boy on the Verruckt, a judge has ruled it is time to tear down the 17-story structure.
