How Special are Those Ordinary Days

For most of us, holidays mean decorating, eating delicious meals and getting together with family and friends. Stacy Stanley and her family lived in North Carolina for more than 30 years and their home was always a central place where people gathered for these special occasions. They've recently relocated to Knoxville, Tennessee.  In her WFDD's Real People, Real Stories essay, Stanley says while she loves celebrating holidays, she also believes the really important times in our lives are ordinary days. And according to her, they deserve more of our attention.
