Heavy Rains Cause Flood Damage in Triad
It's been a wet summer so far in the Piedmont Triad and in the High Country. Around two inches of rain fell in Thomasville early Thursday morning and several roads were closed. Heavy storms also swept through parts of the Triad Wednesday, resulting in some water rescues in Guilford County. The heavy rains have also caused flood damage to some homes and businesses in the area.
