Sarah Gerhardt is the first woman to ever surf Mavericks, the famously dangerous big-wave spot in northern California. Soon she will be part of the first women's heat in a surfing contest there.

Bruce Arena has been rehired to coach the U.S. Men's Soccer Team. He's previously coached the team from 1998-2006 where he posted a record of 71 wins, 30 losses and 29 draws.

Azteca Stadium, where the Oakland Raiders will face the Houston Texans, is more than 2,000 feet higher than Denver. Monday's matchup is only the second-ever regular season NFL game in Mexico.
