The High Point Police Department has arrested and charged Jason Koehler with over a dozen counts of felony exploitation of a minor.

Officers were contacted by an individual with a group called Bikers Against Predators on Feb. 8. They alleged Koehler had obscene material on his phone. The Indiana-based organization says its mission is to expose online predators.

High Point police faced criticism when video of the incident was released by the group and Koehler wasn't initially arrested. He has now been taken to the Guilford County Jail with a bond of $1 million.

Detectives seized multiple electronic devices during the arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
