Three juveniles, two adults arrested in relation to Reynolds High School shooting

Multiple arrests have been made in connection to a shooting outside of a Winston-Salem high school last month. 

An R.J. Reynolds High School student was shot in the leg just after dismissal on Dec. 10. 

After a month-long investigation, law enforcement officials announced that two adults and three juveniles had been arrested for their involvement in the incident. 

Eighteen-year-old Jonathan Emanuel Dallas of High Point was charged with one count of conspiracy to commit felony assault, and one count of felony inciting a riot. He’s being held in the Forsyth County Law Enforcement Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond. 

The other adult, 22-year-old Moises Lobato Ocampo of Winston-Salem, is facing charges related to obtaining and possessing stolen property. He was released from the detention center after posting a bond set at $5,000. 

The minors are facing charges related to armed robbery, felonious assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon on educational property. Two of them are being held without bond by Juvenile Justice, and one was given a written promise to appear in court. Officials say they will all be tried as adults. 

According to Superintendent Tricia McManus, none of the minor suspects were students at Reynolds. 

Law enforcement officials say they can’t share more information about the case in order to ensure a fair trial in court.
