The minors are facing charges related to armed robbery, felonious assault with a deadly weapon and possession of a weapon on educational property. Officials say they will be tried as adults.

Officials from the Winston-Salem Police Department and Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office say the victim was transported to Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and is receiving care.

Most of the construction work was completed in December. The next phase involves setting up water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater utilities, which should take about 90 days.
