First there was the assault on the satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo. Then came the coordinated assault in Paris. And now twin attacks in Brussels. Europe is struggling to cope with a surge in terror.
"We have a problem," says Belgian Muslim playwright Ismaël Saïdi. His solution: writing and producing a comedy play about three men who go to fight a holy war. It's become an unlikely hit in Brussels.
Although the city remains on high alert, schools, businesses and subway stations are reopening — with the conspicuous addition of armed soldiers and police officers around the city.
The brazen robbery at Brussels' main airport on Feb. 18 was one of the biggest diamond heists ever. Authorities say some of the stones turned up in Switzerland. Suspects have been taken into custody there and in both France and Belgium.
