A former Florida prep school administrator was sentenced to four months in prison and a decorated water polo coach at the University of Southern California was swiftly convicted of fraud and bribery.

The students admitted were well-connected to staff or donors and took spots from more qualified applicants.

Loughlin is facing two months in prison and a $150,000 fine, according to the recommendations of the plea agreement. Her husband is facing five months in prison and a $250,000 fine.

Huffman must also pay a $30,000 fine, perform 250 hours of community service and spend a year on probation.

Devin Sloane was sentenced to four months in prison and must pay a $95,000 fine and perform 500 hours of community service. He spent $250,000 to get his son accepted into college as a fake athlete.

The TV and film star is the first parent to be sentenced in connection with the years-long, multimillion-dollar scheme. The case has resurfaced questions about college access, race and privilege.

Laura Janke had previously denied taking bribes for writing the phony biographies, but she is now the fourth corrupt coach to plead guilty. She's expected to testify against others in the case.

Giannulli and Loughlin are accused of paying $500,000 in bribes arranged by admissions consultant Rick Singer to get their daughters admitted to USC as crew recruits, despite not being rowers.

Tuesday's indictment hit them with money laundering and mail fraud charges, each of which could carry up to 20 years in prison. It comes just a day after 14 of their co-defendants pleaded guilty.
