Andrés Manuel López Obrador drew criticism for failing to model good social distancing by shaking hands with the drug boss' mother, even after telling Mexicans to stay home to avoid COVID-19.

Instacart said it would distribute supplies, including hand sanitizer, to more workers and that it would change some tipping settings. But it didn't address paid sick leave for its contractors.

The U.S. Marine Corps won't be shipping new recruits this week to one of its two U.S. training centers. Last week four people at the Parris Island, S.C. installation tested positive for COVID-19.

The Food and Drug Administration has authorized two malaria — chloroquine and hydroxychloroquine — to be added to the national emergency stockpile for use in responding to COVID-19.
