New York Extends Its Eviction Moratorium Through End Of 2021
Lawmakers in New York voted on the extension as many Americans are struggling to stay in their homes after months of pandemic job losses and health dangers.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's eviction moratorium has been in place since September of last year and is set to expire at the end of this month.
Gov. Roy Cooper announced Tuesday a three-month extension of the statewide eviction moratorium that had been set to expire at the end of March.
