The veteran was charged with the murders of two people and the attempted murders of four others who participated in a peaceful civil rights protest in Northern Ireland.

"These are people who have been lying at rest for years and years and to have them desecrated in such a sacrilegious way is so distressing and disturbing," the Archbishop of Dublin told local media.

Fernando LaFuente's former team, Ballybrack FC in Dublin, says it made an "unacceptable mistake" by falsely reporting his death in an accident. He didn't find out about it until coworkers told him.

"Yes, it is my intention that the services will be free," Health Minister Simon Harris said, adding that the goal is to ensure access and not force women to travel for the procedure.

In an 11-page letter, an ex-Vatican diplomat calls for Pope Francis to resign, alleging he knew about former Cardinal Theodore McCarrick's abuses for years.
