Family Says Otto Warmbier, American Released By North Korea, Has Died

The 22-year-old student, who was freed last week after more than a year in North Korean detention, died Monday. Doctors said last week that he had "extensive loss of tissue" in all parts of his brain.

The Metropolitan Detention Center in the Brooklyn borough of New York, where the plaintiffs were detained for months following the September 11 attacks.

7 Sailors Killed After Navy Destroyer Collided With Container Ship

The Navy has identified seven sailors killed when their destroyer, the USS Fitzgerald, collided with a cargo vessel off Japan. They came from a variety of backgrounds around the United States and ranged from a young newcomer to a 37-year-old petty officer first class.
