Most of the Piedmont is under a Winter Storm Warning until 7 a.m. Friday. Freezing rain and sleet will create slick travel conditions Thursday.
Severe weather is impacting our listening area. In the Piedmont Triad, heavy rain, strong winds, and thunderstorms are a big concern. A flood watch remains in effect.
Winter weather is expected to move through much of the Triad and High Country beginning Thursday night and continuing into Friday.
