British Journalist Sir David Frost Dies At 74

David Frost was probably best known in the United States for his interviews with former President Richard Nixon in 1977 after Nixon had resigned from office. The interview was taped over the course of four weeks, two hours at a time. Frost died of a suspected heart attack.

Poet Seamus Heaney Was A Teacher, Critic, Translator

Seamus Heaney was possibly the most-read living poet. He was admired by peers and critics and loved by the general public, which bought his books by the thousands. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1995. Heaney died Friday in Dublin after what his family described in a statement as a 'brief illness." He was 74 years old.

Jack Clement Worked With Some Of Country Music's Best

We remember recording producer Cowboy Jack Clements, who died Thursday in Nashville at the age of 82. In the 1950s, he helped record Elvis, Carl Perkins and Roy Orbison when he worked at Sun Records in Memphis. He also discovered Jerry Lee Lewis and began a life-long friendship with Johnny Cash. Clement later provided the signature sound to one of Cash's biggest hits, "Ring of Fire."
