Guilford County Schools is hosting several in-person events at high schools this week to register students for transportation. Changes in bus routes and transportation service zones go into effect next school year. 

Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools was awarded more than $20,000 from the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction to purchase equipment to increase school bus safety.

Guilford County Schools officials say they will resume normal bus service to high schools affected by a driver shortage.
