A day after the prime minister delayed a critical vote on her Brexit deal, May has hit the road in search of assurances from European leaders — while political turmoil churns back home.

"If we held the vote tomorrow, the deal would be rejected by a significant margin," the U.K. prime minister admitted, hours after a European Union court ruled the U.K. can still back out of Brexit.

Prime Minister Theresa May is taking flak from across the ideological spectrum amid a series of resignations. Some are demanding a no-confidence vote; others are demanding an entirely new referendum.

The U.K. prime minister broke out her distinctive dance moves before a speech Wednesday. But those shimmies projected a confidence in her Brexit proposals that many in her own party don't share.

The move, aimed at strengthening global partnerships post-Brexit, will mark a fundamental shift in focus from short-term poverty reduction to long-term economic growth.

President Trump told CBS that he has "low expectations" ahead of a summit with Russia's Vladimir Putin, and added, "I think the European Union is a foe, what they do to us in trade."

President Trump is on his first official visit to the U.K. and spending the weekend golfing at his resort in Turnberry, Scotland.
