Greensboro's One City, One Book Builds Community Around Shared Reading
What if you finished a book and instead of putting it back on your shelf, you dove into two months of activities inspired by that writing? You took field trips and attended book clubs, watched films related to the subject matter, and met your neighbors, who like you, had also read the same book.
Well, that's exactly what happens every other year when Greensboro Public Library hosts One City, One Book. This year community members are encouraged to pick up Bill Bryson's account of his hike on the Appalachian Trail titled A Walk in the Woods.
