In a lawsuit filed Wednesday, the Olympian says a deal she signed with the group last year insisted on her silence — even after claims of sexual assault had already surfaced against Larry Nassar.

Authorities say Larry Nassar had some 37,000 pornographic images. In separate trials, he has already pleaded guilty to molesting several gymnasts. More than 100 women and girls are suing him.

Larry Nassar, the former team doctor for USA Gymnastics, has admitted molesting seven girls. Well over 100 women and girls have accused him of sexual assault.

Raisman says ex-team doctor Larry Nassar first treated her at 15 and asks, "What did USA Gymnastics do, and Larry Nassar do, to manipulate these girls so much that they are so afraid to speak up?"

The gold medalist says Dr. Larry Nassar claimed he was giving her "medically necessary treatment." She says the abuse began on a team trip when she was 13 years old.

The former Olympic team doctor's deal to admit guilt on three counts of child pornography means he won't face some federal abuse charges. The state cases were not affected.

The organization's board unanimously adopted 70 recommendations of an independent report. But some say the governing body's pledge to do better isn't enough.
