German police are providing protection for the controversial comedian Jan Boehmermann after he performed a crude poem criticizing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on German TV. Dispatcher In Deadly German Train Crash Was Playing Game On Phone, Prosecutors Say

The crash that killed 11 people in February appears to have been caused by a distracted dispatcher, prosecutors say. The controller has been arrested and may face charges of negligent homicide.
