Quaker history is very rich in Guilford County. Max Carter is considered an expert in this area. He is a director of Friends Center, Quaker Studies, and Campus Ministry at Guilford College. WFDD Radio Camper, Lucy Newsom spoke with him.
Dave Petree is the Director of Environmental Sustainability at Guilford College. He has worked at the college for 20 years. Dave started out as a campus caretaker for the grounds but was promoted to Director of Environmental Sustainability. As Director, he has new ideas for Guilford College. Kami Rowan is classical guitarist and professor of music at Guilford College. She is also the faculty advisor for WQFS 90.9 FM, Guilford College's radio station.
