Elon University has suspended one of its fraternities for hazing. The school announced over the weekend that it suspended Sigma Pi fraternity late last month.

Incidences of hazing happen all the time, but the problem can be difficult to gauge because many involved practice a strict code of silence. 

The family of a student killed in an alleged hazing incident at High Point University is appealing a superior court judge's decision to dismiss parts of the case.
